I believe people come into my life at a specific time for me to learn a specific lesson. I believe every challenge has a gift inside. Once I pass the challenge, the gift will reveal itself. When my grandfather died, I felt like I died. He had always been my strongest pillar to face any challenge. The one person who truly believe in me and support me. The only person would stand up for me when others tried to hurt me. When he passed away, I felt like my world fell apart in pieces. It took me some time to finally learn to become my own pillar and be strong that’s the gift.
Most of you have heard of the saying, “People comes into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime!” I believe that!
Thank you for all the people who care, support and see the values in me.
You help me to believe that I am capable, trustworthy and loved!
Thank you for all the people who broke my heart, turned your back on me and judged me negatively.
You helped me to become a stronger person. I’ve learned to pick up myself and stand up strong as every time you push me down. You helped me find the toughness in me to face any negatives.
Have you heard of ‘selective listening’? It is actually a good tool to use to filter out all the negative criticism that we do not need. It is hard because we take it personally especially from the people who we love. However, we are here to live our lives and make the best of it. We can learn to trash out those negative criticism by remembering those supportive feedbacks.
I like this quote and it makes me think of photography. Just because you took many photos, it doesn’t mean you have to show them all. Why bother to show the black & white photos to someone who dislikes black & white photos?! You know exactly what you are going to get, negative feedback!
To show who you are only to those who truly treasure and respect you!
