Something about traveling…

People said traveling make a person wise, I agree! People said traveling is an investment and a lifelong education through seeing the world! No agreement from me!  However, those are not really my reason for loving to travel and seeing the world.

I love photography or to be more specific, I like to capture the beauty and the essence of each moment in different places wherever I was at in the world.  That’s the answer I usually give whenever people ask me “Why do you like traveling?” In my mind, I also think of life can be short even if I live up to 100 but the days that I can actually move around, walking 500 some steps up to the St. Paul’s Cathedral to see the stunning view of England, carrying my heavy camera bag and my backpack, walking around from the sunrise to the stars light up the sky.  The world is so big!  Seeing pictures of another country only need my imagination but actually traveling from the first step land on a new place, I need all my senses to experience the culture and to create my own memories of each trip.  My photos may not turn out but my memories and the feeling will never go away.

Recently, my best friend asked me seriously, “What do you like about traveling?” I decided not to give the same answer after…lost count how many times I said the same thing! After looking at my photos, little entrances or train tickets I kept,…and others things in my travel box, I think I finally know “Why!”.
