One cold night with falling snow, a guy ran out the door with only his pj shorts on and chased his girlfriend car who slowly drove away. When he reached the car, he yelled out, “I love you, please don’t go!”. The entire neighbour could hear him. His girlfriend rolled down the window and looked at him. He said, “Please come back and talk! I have no shirt on and you are very important to me!” She did. How beautiful to see it with my own eyes!
I have seen many people who consume by logic, negative experiences, fears, doubts, and ended up missing the opportunity because he/she acted too late. Someone had told me once that his girlfriend left him but fortunately she reached out after several months. I asked him what happened if she never returned? He replied that I would leave our beautiful photos around as long as I could and just carried on with life alone. I asked why you didn’t reach out. His responded was I respected her decision. I asked what if she was waiting for you to show her how important she was to you by you reaching out to her? When people asked my opinion, I find myself often said if it is worth it, take a chance. At least, you won’t live with regrets.
In relationship, there are always a moment that one may want to let go. Are you willing to chase after the one you loved and never let go? or give up because of fear or whatever reasons that you convince yourself to believe in?
